Catch up

My sisters and mom and I went to Napa, CA a couple weeks ago. These are taken in Muir woods close by.

(In case you're wondering, these were not in the woods.)

These are some images I took when my roommates and I went on a photo "adventure".

These are some landscapes I see every day to and from work. I like the lines the tractors make, and the distinction between the dirt and the new growth.

I figured that since I work with flowers all day I should probably take some pictures of them. I was trying not to be too cliche, but I'm not sure if I succeeded.

Scum in the greenhouse. I like this one a lot.

I really like the first purple flower and the last one. you got some great shots from Muir Woods too.
Maybe next time you post you could have more spots to comment so you'd get more specific comments.

Congrats - you have an online presence! You need to figure out how to get your captions together with the images. You can try using one of the many online web-logging tools to help you compose.

As for your images, I enjoy the 1st image quite a bit. I like the strong lines of the tree branches against the delicate leaves. It is always a challenge to find order from what at first appears as chaos and I think you did it well. I also enjoy how you handle the close-up/abstract photos. I personally don't get as excited by the flowers.

I will be dropping in on you occasionally. Keep it up!
